The Golden Wall of Heaven (Prophetic Vision)

The Golden Wall of Heaven

In a vision while praying, I saw a huge long golden wall. As I walked up to it I felt the presence of the Lord that had such a beauty sweet fragrance. The atmosphere was so heavy and there was a soft cloud like substance that had streaks of rainbow colors glistening through them. I would hear him speak to me, in my mind, but no words were being spoken, but I could perceive what he was saying.  I looked at this wall and on it were multitudes of gold and silvery like knobs shining. It seemed to be billions of them, all lined up from top to bottom on this vast wall that stretched so far I could not see where it ended.  I felt drawn to pull on one of the knobs and as I did there came out an ancient looking scroll. I unrolled this scroll and as I felt the silkiness of the paper, I thought to myself that this was something special, royal, and majestic. As I looked on the top of the scroll there was written the word LIFE in fancy lettering.  The Lord then said to me, “You write the Script of your Life,” then handed me a pen.  Immediately I thought of the verse in Habakkuk 2:2-3(The Message) which says, “Write this. Write what you see. Write it out in big block letters so that it can be read on the run. This vision-message is a witness pointing to what’s coming. It aches for the coming—it can hardly wait! And it doesn’t lie. If it seems slow in coming, wait. It’s on its way. It will come right on time.”

As the Lord prompted me to start writing, I felt in my heart a desire to write my family, friends and everyone I love on the scroll.  I wanted to write their names on the scroll so they wouldn’t be left out, to secure their lives on earth and in heaven, as if I could.  He spoke to my heart that they must write their own script, so I continued to write.  As the atmosphere was so thick, cloud like substance covered the ground along with gold dust. The air was so heavy, but lightly exhilarating, as it seemed to breathe life into me. Then I saw my husband Jimmy to the left of me smiling as our eyes met. He kissed me on the forehead which comforted me. I breathed a sigh of relief when I also noticed our children and the rest of the family right next to us in a row facing this monumental magnificent wall. They each started writing their script which filled my heart with joy and praises to the Lord in my spirit.  I leaned over a bit more and noticed in the row where multitudes of people standing before the wall.  These were my friends and people I have met in passing during my lifetime. I felt the Lord say, “These are the ones that you have affected.  The seeds you have planted, even without knowing, have brought them to this place.” I was overwhelmed with his peace, joy, and love that had consumed my entire being. As I watched, I noticed some were writing on their scroll and others were waiting.  I felt sad as I wanted to desperately yell out to them to start writing. I wondered why they wouldn’t take hold of the chance to create their own destiny.  Then I was awaken out of this vision and heard the Lord speak…..

A Word from the Lord:

I want you to begin writing your story, your dream, and your life.  The desires that you have in your heart, I have put there for a purpose and plan.  These desires will not only benefit you, but everyone around you.  I am in agreement with my people for their destiny, and long to partner with you to see it fulfilled.  Begin your journey NOW and write the Script for your life.  I have given you the power, walk in it.  I have called you to make a difference. Do not allow the enemy to disempower you with fear, but stand boldly proclaiming my Word which will defeat all foes. You need not to fear, for I am with you ALWAYS!

Rape, Revenge, and Repentance (Genesis 34)

Rape, Revenge, and Repentance (Genesis 34)

Dinah was a free spirited, beautiful young woman. She was the only girl of ten brothers.  She ventured out alone with no permission, unattended out into the big city to visit with the daughters of the land. (v34:1). This was a new and exciting place for her, the land of Shechem, where her parents, Jacob and Leah, and the rest of the family bought land to live on (Gen. 33:19).  Perhaps being naive and innocent, she was unaware of what would await her in Shechem.  Rape, sexual defilement, embarrassment, and shame was thrust upon her, taking away all innocence of her being, as Shechem, the prince of the country intruded and invaded her soul. (v.2)

But this was more than just sex.  A soul tie had been formed, which happens when one has sex, at least he recognized this, as his desire for her grew so much to the point of begging his father to arrange a marriage between the two, in spite of how this dishonorable union came about. (v.3-8). So Hamor, Shechems father, went to Jacob and did as his son request. (v.8-12) But Dinah’s brothers were furious and plot to kill Shechem, his father and all the men in their city.  They did this by a false agreement saying, “We cannot do this thing and give our sister to one who is not circumcised, for that would be a reproach and disgrace to us.  But we do consent to do this: if you will become as we are and every male among you be circumcised, then we will give our daughters to you and we will take your daughters to us, and we will dwell with you and become one people.” (v.14-16)

Shechem, his father, and all their men agreed and were circumcised.  On the third day Jacobs sons went into their country and killed all the men, including Shechem and Hamor, and plundered the land.  (v.25-29)  Then they retrieved their sister from the house of Shechem as they intended in their hearts to do.

Now this brought fear and shame upon Jacob, when hearing of this, knowing that his people would now be sought after.  The sons tried to justify their actions, by saying, “Should he (Shechem) be permitted to deal with our sister as a harlot?”

But as we know, two wrongs don’t make a right.

Jacob, being the God fearing man that he was, announced to the people that early in the morning they must journey to Bethel and worship and seek council of the Lord. (Gen. 35:3-4) When they did, God showed up!  (Gen. 35:5)  Since Jacob sought wise council as he worshiped and prayed to God the Father, he was covered and protected.  The enemy could not pursue him and prevail. (Gen. 35:5)

We see here that although Dinah, in her innocence, was still disobedient by not letting her parents know of her actions.  Had she mentioned to her parents what she was going to do, they may have sent someone with her to keep her protected.  Being at a time when women were not respected or looked upon with high esteem, she should have known of the dangers.  Never the less, a choice was made that caused a spiral effect of destruction.

I’m reminded of a friend who told me of a choice she made to elope as a teenager with a young man who she only knew a short time.  Soon after she was caught in a web of deceit, fear, anxiety and disaster.  She found herself being stabbed, beaten (on many occasions) and cheated on.  He impregnated a co-worker who she worked closely with.  This broke her heart, not only hers but the co-workers husband, who when finding out about the pregnancy, after wanting to have a child with his wife for such a long time, killed himself in his car in the garage.

I mention these accounts, not to place blame, but to open our eyes to the fact that there is a covering needed from our earthly fathers and most of all, our Father in heaven.  We must hear Gods voice in order to make right choices and honor him. We also must hear the voice of the leaders of our homes, the fathers and husbands who are to rise up and take responsibility for their families, just as Jacob did, even though his children were at fault.  Sometimes we make choices to do things on our own, be it out of curiosity, rebellion, or to remedy a painful shame that’s so deep we feel the only way to cure it is to do what we may thing is right, but the Word of God says that, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.” (Proverb 16:25)

Dinah, Shechem, Jacob sons, and many of us make choices on our own, without seeking the Lord first.  Sometimes those choices can bring about destructive consequences to many lives. Spending time in God’s presence in prayer and worship helps us to discover His wisdom that protects us in our daily decisions for our lives.  ~Rosemarie Hilton

The Gift by Rosemarie Hilton (2011 archives)

A FREE gift from the Father through Christ Jesus, no strings attached.

Just say YES and RECEIVE it. No Performances or deeds, just RECEIVE.”

Like a gift that is wrapped so beautifully on Christmas morning. You look, open it and embrace it, put it on and wear it, walk in it, but know that it’s yours forever and no one can take it away.  You only can give it away, by totally rejecting it.  As you wear your gift that is free, people will want it; will ask where did you get such a wonderful gift, this gift that changed your life, your appearance, your countenance.  Then you tell them, “It’s free!

But then, others who have the gift begin to tell you now that you have this gift, you must speak this way or do this act or move in a way you’ve never experienced.  They start to warn you that you don’t truly have the gift unless you perform with your body in such a way that others can truly see how the gift works.  This causes you to deny that you have this free gift.  So you put the free gift on the shelf, because it’s too hard to work for it.

But for those who reject the gift or even receive it, by putting it on the shelf, and allow it to collect dust, mold or mildew, no one else would have the privilege to see it, it will remain in the darkness, as though it were never taken nor opened.  No one would know of this glorious gift you have, this amazing blessing! Only you would know.  And you think about it from time to time, but eventually you forget you have it, as things begin to pile upon it, covering its beauty; stress, fear, frustration, anger, anxiety.  Until one day it’s covered in darkness.

Then a small still voice speaks to you of this gift you have.  You begin to search for it, as you search you begin to hope that it’s not lost forever, this wonderful gift, as you continue to search for it the layers of darkness fall away, the fear, stress and anxiety you once known dissipates the closer you get to seeing the light of this magnificent gift.  The last layer comes off and there it is! The gift, the beautiful life giving gift you once celebrated.  You begin to tear it open, layer by layer, piece by piece.  Each step your heart flutters, you can feel the beating in your chest for the excitement is so overwhelming.  There it is! The gift, the light, the shining beautiful gift of Life.  You embrace it, you nurture it, you wear it, and you walk in it, never letting it go.  Tears stream from your eyes with joy, peace and relief.   Nothing else matters, no stress, fear, problem can penetrate, because this gift out shines them all.

Your life begins to change each day as you walk in the knowledge of this free gift.  Then one day those things that the others once spoke of begin to fall upon you like a warm cozy blanket from above, fitting perfectly.  With every encounter more gifts, different gifts begin to rise in you as you embrace them.  You desire them, you long for more of them, because you know they are your special gifts.  Not endowed upon you by man, but given from your heavenly Father, which no one can take credit for, because all praise, honor and glory you give to Him that loves you.

The Lord Delights In You

The Lord delights in you. You are not abandoned, nor left behind. God has not forgotten you. The dry spell is over, you are His bride and He wants to dance once again with you. He is your groom and He wants to cover you and protect you. Run into His strong arms of love and let Him keep you in that perfect peace you so desire. As you do, He will show you the plans He has for your life and release you into your destiny call. ~Selah

Lot’s Wife (Gen.19:25-26)

God destroyed the city of Sodom where Lot and his family lived. The angel said to him, “Don’t look back.”  “But Lots wife looked back from behind him and she became a pillar of salt.”(v.26)  This is the word I received from the Lord: Do not go back to the old ways of living, thinking its better. Do not think like the Israelites, who desired to go back to Egypt, saying “It was better to be slaves, then to deal with the minor afflictions they faced in the wilderness, especially pertaining to food and their hunger for old things, instead of dining on God’s spiritual manna from heaven which heals (Exodus 16:1-3). Lots wife looked back, which caused her destruction, her demise, her death!

Many women, even Christian woman (that I have noticed), have been going back to the old ways, be it intentional or unintentional. Allowing the small things to build a monument of pain in their lives and the lives of their family.  Women set the tone and atmosphere in the household.  So if they allow ungodly television, videos, music or speech to enter in, it causes a spiral effect of confusion, hurt and destruction in the home. When one murmurs, complains, and feel that they have a “right” to be angry and upset, they are now partnering with the enemy of darkness. They open the door for evil to come in.

“I tell you now to, shut the door, and EVEN YOUR MOUTH, if need be! I know this sounds like a heavy rebuke, but you must equip yourself with my Word!  Partner with me. There is life or death, blessings or curses, so I say to you, CHOOSE LIFE, that you may live!” (Deut. 30:15-19)

Words form and manifest when spoken.  It’s like a seed planted in the ground. At first you may not see the fruit of it, but with watering and fertilizing, it will grow.  When you continue to complain about a particular problem, you are feeding it and giving it life.  With your words you plant a seed and  eventually it will grow, and you will eat the fruit there of. (Proverbs 18:21)

“Speak life over your family, friends and those you encounter. Depart from the old ways, do not look back, but move forward in me, with me. Together we will move mountains, heal the sick and set the captives free!”

Will You Go?

Would You Go?

I’m looking for those who are willing to just start, to move, to go. For I will be with them and teach them what to say, in and with the power of my most Holy Spirit. Don’t be concerned with the out come, I am not about numbers like man, I am about results. Results that take place in the heart, your heart.  I’m looking for a willing vessel, for my Kingdom. One who would shine the light of my glory upon the land. One who would go, just go in My name. Not worrying about the effects or what would happen, I determine the out come of all things. Nothing can thwart my plans, and all things are subject unto me. Just Go! And let me work through you, in you, to do great and marvelous things. Things beyond your imagination. And as I do, you will witness healing, healing for you, your family, the nations. Let me work out those things that are holding you back from my goodness. Those monumental idols that you and others have built, pain, fear, stress, anxiety. Allow me to break down the barriers of life’s afflictions, the heavy burdens that so weigh you down. My yolk is easy and my burden is light, so cast your cares upon me and I will give you rest. A rest that restores, renews, revives. Repairing your soul for the journey that I have set before you, to walk out your destiny call.
